These speakers are a great value. They deliver great clean sound at all ranges. I don't feel the need to add a SUB woofer to this 2 speaker setup. 8ohm impedance and great range. not hard to drive even from the likes of the Fossi Audio Z3 amp.

Purchased to replace my very good Energy C1 bookshelf units that I have had for many years, I am still breaking them in as it’s reported on take at least 20 hours to get the best sound from them . So far I am not overwhelmed with the sound yet ( the Energy units are great performers and actually cost me more when I purchased them many years ago) Time will tell . Update after a good break in period, they sound better and better every time I listen to them and I now rate them at 5 stars .

Great speakers are expensive, but we all WANT great speakers. These sound wonderful, especially for the price. My setup is primarily for a home theater for a 16x20 room (two Paradigm SE 3000F floor standing speakers, one Klipsch 504C center speaker, two Paradigm Monitor SE Atoms for surround sound and a SVS-PB 2000 subwoofer). I put a bit more money into the Klipsch 504C center speaker for clear voice tracks because of the home theater focus.I tried a few combination of speakers, but liked this setup best. It is well-balanced, clear without being harsh, has pretty good punch from both the SVS subwoofer and the Paradigm floor standing speakers, and does a good job filling the room without having to have the volume cranked up too much. I mated the speakers to a 110Wx7 channel Onkyo AV receiver and set it up as a 5.1. While I would have preferred a Denon AV unit for a number of reasons, they were not available at the time. The Onkyo unit was quite easy to set up, and with a few tweaks to speaker levels to balance to the room. The setup does a nice job of presenting quality sound to most all of the primary seating positions in the room. As a home theater setup, for the money, this system would be tough to beat. When I switch to music and put the AV unit in stereo mode, the sound is still quite good, though this setup shines best for home theater. If my primary use-case was music I would save a bit of money by purchasing a less expensive center channel speaker and would upgrade the subwoofer to the SB-3000 (or maybe PB-3000 if I still watched quite a few movies) and maybe even upgrade the floor-standing speakers to the Paradigm SE-6000f.All-in-all, I am very happy with the Paradigm SE 3000f. They are good enough for music and do an incredible job as part of a very nice home theater setup.

Although these speakers are full sized, they can fit most locations. They sound great, and I have the centre / surround speakers to match, makes a big difference.

Sound quality is stunning for sub-1000$ towers. I’d stack these up against speakers worth 2-3x more and they would hold their ground. I paired these with the Atom bookshelves and the matching center speaker as well as an SVS PB-1000 to create a 5.1 system. It sounds unbelievable- music sounds rich and detailed and movies really come to life. Very glad I went with an all Paradigm setup as it came out to only about 60$ more than an equivalent home-theater-in-a-box Klipsh system from Costco but the sound field as well as the look and feel of the speakers is much better in my opinion.
